Kofi Annan’s Life & Legacy to be celebrated, 3 June

The Life and Legacy of former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan is due to be celebrated at two inter-connected events in London, on Monday 3 June 2019. One event will be hosted by Chatham House and the other by the UK UN Association.

 

The Chatham House event is titled 'Our Shared Humanity - The Legacy of Kofi Annan' . The daytime event is being organised in collaboration with Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, UNA-UK, the Kofi Annan Foundation, the Elders, AGRA, Mo Ibrahim Foundation. The conference is free to attend and BAFUNCS members are warmly invited to join; to register, please email govconf@chathamhouse.org

The UNA/UK  event, which has already been trailed on this website, will take place from 5pm to 8pm at London’s prestigious Central Hall Westminster – where the first UN Secretary-General was appointed in 1946. Tickets are limited in number and allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
